Paolo Merloni
Chairman of the Board
Born in 1968, graduated with honors in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan and began his career at McKinsey in Madrid and Milan.
In 1995 he joined Ariston Group, where he held several key positions over time, including Director for Central and Eastern Europe, Director of Italy and Vice-President with delegation to the Heating System Division. In 2004 he was appointed CEO and since 2011 he is Ariston Group Executive Chairman.
He is also Executive President of Merloni Holding, member of the Executive Council of EHI and member of the Italian board of the international non-profit association Endeavor Global.
In 2020 he has been appointed Cavaliere del Lavoro by the President of Italy Sergio Mattarella. In 2022, he receives the Honorary Degree in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
Carlo Germano Ravina
Managing Director Board Member
Born in Turin in 1968, graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Turin Polytechnic, he obtained an MBA from Insead. He worked 5 years with Jenbacher Energiesysteme in Austria, Italy and Spain. He spent 13 years with McKinsey in Milan, 7 of which as a Partner, with a strong focus on energy, utilities and renewables.
In 2013 he became Senior Vice President of Development, Innovation & Markets at Veolia in Paris. In 2018 he took over the operational leadership of NovaCapital.
Matteo Colombo
Managing Director Pragma Invest – Board Member
Born in Milan in 1974, graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University, he obtained a Masters in Finance from the London Business School. He worked 5 years in London at Salomon Smith Barney and Flemings, respectively in the M&A and equity research departments and afterwards 9 years in Synergo, an Italian private equity firm.
In 2013 he joined the Merloni Holding Group as responsible for Pragma Invest activities.
Simone Sarachini
Board Member
Born in 1979, he graduated in economics with a specialization in financial markets. He joined Ariston Group in 2004 as a junior financial analyst, growing from responsibilities in the financial department of Ariston Group to the role of Group Treasury Senior Director.
Since 2008 he has been coordinator for the financial aspects of the Merloni Holding Group.
Francesco Randazzo
Associate
Born in Palermo in 1995, graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University, he obtained a Master in International Business from the Grenoble Graduate School of Business. He worked 4 years in consulting in Ernst&Young and then in the PwC Deals team, respectively in Audit and M&A Transaction Services.
In 2021 he joined NovaCapital.
